I am just totally out of touch , seriously i do not see enough interesting movies being produced to really justify spending even a buck to see them. Yet , all these drug taking pretty boys and girls are getting great salaries and there young droopy pants fans are loyal so it must be me.
I still have my Clint Eastwood movies i can watch on amc .
Recently dropped TWC and now rely on Netflix and iTunes. I get to watch what I want and pay a whole lot less. It didn't seem logical to pay a hefty price when you don't even watch 85% of what your cable package includes.
Great article, and my sentiments exactly. It seems as if these various companies are making erratic announcements in an effort to convince the public that
a) Netflix is dying, and
b) they have all we need, but we have to stick with them.
What's really frustrating is the whole sports issue that keeps me tethered to my TV subscription, when what I really want to do is move strictly to streaming services with Netflix and rental/purchase with Vudu.
