OK, does this PROVE to anyone that hotel rates are way out of whack? To afford this abo rti on of a "home" just means these people make way too much money, even if they can't afford to finish it.
Where is the OWS crowd complaining how everyone should be entitled to a home like this and the wealthy should be giving all their money to the government so the OWS'ers can sit around.....I mean "occupy" whatever they want. Demonizing wealth and success is a smokescreen by the lefties to keep everyones eyes off the real reason we are in this jam....bloated government and a sense of entitlement to success. You are not entitled to success....you are only entitled to opportunity, and there is plenty of it out there.....but why pursue it when you can stay on umemployment for 4 years, have the government (private sector taxpayers) pay your kids tuition, and get a nice debit card to go to the grocery store?
I have no problem with wealth. But personally, I'd rather live in a society that takes care of the mentally ill and less fortunate so they don't have to live on the street.
I have a life JB. Taxing me more because of my relative success (the somehow magical $250K measuring stick for wealth) means I have less to give to charities because I am footing all of my kids college tuition, pay my bills, and save for retirement so I won't need SSI because I doubt there will be any or the rules will change to take it away from me, just like I lose tax deductions. Yes I agree it is an ugly house and I would not want it, but they certainly have the right to do what they want with their money.
Mikey: Nothing here talks to someone not being able to spend their own $$ as chosen.... You barely relate to the story still.... Your agenda is bigger than your brain. Suggestion: write an article and get it published. That's better than trashing up pretty much unrelated material......
and if that's not enough space for you, there's a 3/2/2 in Trinity, FL for just under 190k. a simple plan that those of us in the 99% could afford or would need to flaunt.
I wouldn't buy anything associated with David Seigel. He's a disgusting crook and his "wife" could be his daughter. Look him up on google. He makes Trump look like a priest.
Your tax dollars at work folks. Take from the poor (meaning cut government spending) and give to the rich, sorry, I meant the "jobs creators" Aren't we envious? We all want to be rich don't we? Stuff like this builds a strong economy and a great country.
Whew, this place redefines the words Butt Ugly! Who in their right mind would buy that POS? Especially for $75M!! Probably someone who has more money than brains!
A typical bad-taste building produced by NEW RICH - as in most cases they have the money, but will never have the education or taste that one finds with 'old money'.
Spending 100 million on a one home is totally obscene. I would be embarrassed to have that house in the same town I live in. My opinion is that this is a perfect example of bad taste and a lack of imagination as to the constructive things that can be done with money. One of the blessings of America is that you have more choices here than anywhere in the world. Difference of opinion is something we do well! But to suggest “that almost anyone would envy” this use of money, is grossly inaccurate [interesting choice of words]. But if someone actually likes it, and has 100 million extra lying around they could buy it and have fun. Their choice. I would not want everyone to have the same tastes or interests, but to suggest that everyone would envy such a home is very inaccurate and a gross generalization that is offensive to me.
I suggest it be turned into a museum. Name it WASTE OF MONEY. Having the money to build something so large and pretentious, does not mean you have class. Give me old money
How about a bed/breakfast or spa resort? It's not like they're new to the resort business, and it already has the outdoor sporting and leisure amenities... I thought they were business people?

What a joke!
First issue is that it's in Florida.
Second issue is that it's in Orlando.
Other than that, some Saudi or Chinese investor will likely enjoy their purchase.
That place looks hideous.

Dog ugly! Proof that money can't buy taste.

Absolutely nothing to do with the article. Get a life. And zip up: your agenda is showing.....

(Shudders at the thought of having to clean all those bathrooms... lol)

Butt-ugly! Barf bags included?
That was my reaction to the photo, also. It looks lihe it is cheaply built by someone with little design talent, just saying.

The rich and frivolous like to build monuments unto themselves. Such is the ego!
A whole lot of contractors and their employees were LOL all the way to the bank! Goes to show money can't buy brains or taste ;/
Are the window treatments and major appliances included?
I'd like to make an offer for 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and the kitchen.
Funniest replay Ive seen all day..lol
Environmentally bankrupt, aesthetically hideous and morally repugnant.
I wouldn't want to pay for it & I surely wouldn't want to clean it, but I would love to be noisey @ look inside ;)
What a piece of chit. No class people build stuff like that, too bad they think they don't stink like their house does. Just my opinion.
