In reality, if everyone in the USA did everything possible "green", it would only reduce world polution by about 15%. Remember, we are no longer the industry capital of the world.
Thought: if the govt' paid farmers to grow at capacity, rather than leave fields fallow, we could feed , and eliminate the billions of dollars our govt' is sending abroad to buy friends. And it is a proven fact that doesn't work. Some people ( politicians) NEVER learn. Why, when there are kids in this country going to bed hungry are we feeding other countries. And how much of the money we send actually helps anyone but the leaders of the poor countries get richer.
I didn't mind these bags at all. They were great for the environment!
And besides, they were GREAT for taking to a movie theatre, cause the bag would at least drown out all the cell phones ringing and the texting and the talking and the gaming, not to mention kids yapping during R-Rated movies. Why do parents take their 2-year-olds to slasher movies anyway? Isn't that child abuse.
We are always first in line to buy anything recyclable or compostable, so we were really excited to see the new bag for Sun Chips last year. Thought that would be the start of a new trend in packaging. BUT, the bags do not compost. They do NOT degrade in an aerobic environment. Maybe if we go ahead and send them to the landfill (anaerobic), they WILL degrade, but only after everything surrounding them degrades! That won't be in our lifetime.
THANK YOU!!! You would not believe how many people disagree on foreign aid. I have always considered it the same as feeding your neighbor's kids while your own kids go hungry. People are always saying 'it's not that simple'. Actually, it is that simple. Part of the problem is so many things being made more complicated than they have to be.
YEAH! All you GREEN @!$%#ers can suck it! (kidding) So here's a company trying to do something good for the environment and it gets canned because its too noisy?! LMAO! OMG What is wrong with you people?! I thought this was a great idea. Its environmentally sound, but people choose the NON-biodegradable product because its less noisy. What LOSERS! Frito-Lay should just say 'Tough! We're doing something good for the environment and we arent going to change it. Live with the noise!'
I really am at a loss for words describing this scenario. Sorry Greenies, you got beat by the idiots!
You try to do something good and ya get screwed...may as well just keep using oil! How pathetic...
Have you noticed how everything has been going wrong at Frito-Lay since the Obama Administration expropriated that corporation when he rammed TARP down everybody's throats? Now, that Gidget chick running for Senate in Delaware says that she wants to get this country's chip makers back on course, back to the chip-making concepts that this great nation pioneered in the 1960's. All of us tea baggers need to give to her our utmost support, before Obama can nationalize Lipton and Tetley!

LOL Bush & Obama both agreed about TARP. So did the same Congress & Senate we have right now. The only ones yelling about it at the time were conservative radio stations and a few people interviewed on Fox News. Jim C was obviously making fun of some of the liberal posts that claim to know what Tea Party members want. He left out that we want the uninsured to die slowly, hispanics to die now, and to strip Granny of her income.
But, back on topic, this is really an odd news story. Noisy chip bags? I thought the old ones were noisy as hell. I don't eat junk food very often so I never tried the green ones. Were they really that much louder?
ScoMata1964 "Bush did not want to sign somehting that big right at the end and leave it for Obama."

Either Hanover or Snyders Organic pretzels come in a corn plastic bag same as the Sun CHips. It IS noisy as hell. But worst of all the food in it doesn't taste fresh. And... corn plastic doesn't biodegrade fast, nor is it compostable. I had that problem w/Primo water bottles. You can't recycle them, they don't compost so they just end up in the landfill. What's the point ?
I'd still rather see recycled paper type bags and boxes. I try to buy products that come in containers that are either recyclable, compostable or made out of post consumer materials.
Who complains about such thing? Honestly, who cares so much about the noise their chip bag makes that they'll take the time to call or email the manufacturer and complain? I'll tell you who; yuppy westerners, living cushy lives with nothing else to worry about besides the volume of their chip bag makes. Oh man, we need some hardship so that we're not so neurotic.
I am with Branda on this one. How callous and uptight do we have to be to be upset about the sound of a chip bag. There are bigger worries in the world than the sound of a bag. Others have also pointed out that we are no longer the the industrial capital of the world but that should not stop us from doing what is right. We are one of the youngest countries in the world and yet we continue to push the world in advancements (either by our personal desires or by our own innovations). If we show the world that we are serious about taking care of what we have then surely others will follow. As for what the govt' is doing with our farmers, I think that belongs in another blog but remember there are systems in place for farmers that are unjust as well as purpose driven. fallow fields allow for the soil to recover nutrients and to prevent another economic disaster like the dust storms of the 30's.
There are also bigger worries in the world than making a chip bag biodegradeable (which they aren't). Even if it is bio, it's in a trash bag that isn't, so what's the point. I really like Sunchips but stopped buying them because of the noise, how about saving our ears! So I'm happy they finally decided to stop making them. Betcha the Original flavor will come in dead last for popularity next time. Sorry greenies, capitalism always wins. They were losing money because of the bag, and they are a business....better to make a non-bio bag and still be in business than a super-duper-save-the-planet-bag and go out of business.
Get over it, all this green crap isn't saving anything, all it's doing is making money for a few(i.e. Al Gore). If you want a Savior better open your Bible. John 3:16 is a good place to start.
I'd rather they make the bags out of something recyclable than biodegradable. That being said, I really wish the market would come back on recycling. There used to be collection points for cans & bottles everywhere and it paid enough to be worth your time to take a walk with a leaf bag down the road. I remember making $20-$40 over the weekend as a kid back in the 70s and 80s. Now the city wants me to pay THEM $10 a month to sort thru my own trash with those blue bins. I'd do it if they didnt' charge for it. Even better, if they'd offer a discount on utilities for people who did it, they'd probably cut the landfill influx in half.
A horror story on how it ended up happened to me in college. I had 3 roommates in the same dorm apartment for 2 years. We saved every single beer bottle & had them stacked neatly all the way up the walls, etc. The day we moved out it stopped being funny but we decided to completely load up the back of my longbed truck with the bottles and take them to the recycling plant. 3 hrs of loading later I weigned in, dumped them all, then weighed out and we got a grand total of $12. That was the last time I recycled glass.
If Obama, Pelosi, & Reid had spent some of that stimulous $$ on upgrading city red lights to be syncronized (catch one red, then go the speed limit and it's the last red light you see while going straight), then we would have cut down on gas usage, wear & tear of car parts that end up in landfills, and pollution. It would have also put a bunch of contractors to work implementing them. FYI - this is an "idea" I hear from the conservatives quite often but never mentioned on MSNBC.
they would be better than people who have time and energy to blog about people who complain about chip packaging noise, like us. just kidding! ... anyways, now FritoLay may get complaints about envionmentally unfriendly packaging, then they have to switch back again, not kidding this time...
Tired of silly, exactly how do you come by all your information? You must be an expert because you sure sound like one. I bet you slept at Holiday Inn last night.
Although they are noisy, they are better for the environment. If they are going back to the original because of all the complaints, then why should we go green? I usually don't eat their chips, but bought them because of the recyclable bag. Now, I guess I'll go buy something else.
Were they really THAT noisy? That's really what I'm wondering here...just HOW loud does it have to be for them to be getting that many complaints about it? I would guess pretty loud...
Kinda like the way we listen to our music, our phones are all set on high, our alarms on our cars are loud, we go to clubs with loud music and loud people. This is not a hush hush society we live in. What the heck is the big deal with a noisy chip bag for the love of Pete! Do we all suffer from Aspherger's or Autism or something that we can't handle the "loudness" of a bag? rolls eyes
cant even sneak a snack at work because the bag was that noisy!! i could tell that my kids were into the chips across the room and down the hall because the bag was that noisy!!
Maybe there should be a deposit requirement for non-degradeable bags, say 50-cents.
I hate it when people make ridiculous comments like this. The other day someone said a $4 tax on gasoline would be a good idea. The government would like nothing better than to run with your ideas ... and guess what ... the money would end up being used to bail out a petroleum company or sloppy investment firm. Besides, have you ever heard one of these bags? It's about as annoying as a vuvuzela horn.
Or a deposit on the higher prices, not actually helping biodegradable ones. The annoyance and expensive is much greater on most of these "green" ideas then the tiny bit they Might help.
I agree, how stupid can you be to want to pay more for something. I am glad you have the extra cash but I don't. First a bag of chips, then a jug of milk... it is endless. Go ahead and send in your extra $ .50 to help them out.
I don't buy those bags because they are beyond annoying!
I have a feeling that the complaints are from people who liked to "hide" their snacking from family and friends.
A better solution would have been to lay off the snacks in the first place and maybe get healthier. (I'm refering to anyone with high cholesterol/etc., and not necessarily people who might be a few pounds to heavy....but if the shoe fits....)
I may be over-generalizing here, but anyone who feels compelled to complain that a chip bag is too noisy seriously has too much free time on their hands. What's next? Soda cans too noisy when you pop one open? A bowl of Rice Krispies making you jittery? Get a life, people! For once, a company is at least making an attempt to do something environmentily responsible, and people complain because the noisy bag got them caught sneaking a snack. Pitiful...but, unfortunately, given the over-sensitive weenies that make up the majority of our country now, not all that surprising...
"I agree, how stupid can you be to want to pay more for something. I am glad you have the extra cash but I don't. First a bag of chips, then a jug of milk... it is endless. Go ahead and send in your extra $ .50 to help them out."
Barbara,
Unless you were being sarcastic, if you don't have extra money, why are you buying chips at all?
For all the people commenting about how ridiculous the complaints were, did you ever experience one of those bags? I didn't complain, I just never bought another bag. It has nothing to do with "sneaking a snack". The bags were too annoying for eating out of on a road trip or on the couch. They were seriously noisy. Any slight touch made loud noise. Obviously enough people (who actually touched one of these bags) were really annoyed by the bags to negatively affect sales. Before commenting on what you think of other people's pettiness, perhaps you should actually go to the store and touch the bags to experience the problem for yourself.
They help drown out the voices in my head. I'm thinking of carpeting my apt in the "green" bags next and getting a dozen hyper-active cats.
Rebecca-2113033, I spent a couple of months in Michigan. The deposits on everything and having to haul it all back to the store and hand feed it all back through a machine was definitely a nuiciance. I would have rather just thrown the bottles in a blue bin for the city to pick up and have a fine if you had bottles in the regular trash. At least that way I'm not having to haul my own crap around and hand feed dirty bottles & cans thru the machine @ the grocery store just before I go pick up some food with the beer & soda covered hands.
I like the idea of putting a "tax" on anything that's not recyclable / biodegradable or compostable. That money could be specifically earmarked to be spent on nothing but green technology. AND... eventually it would encourage people to start seeking more environmentally friendly products and packaging.
Smc - you would be extremely foolish to believe any politician that would make you this promise about how the new found money will be spent. Besides, with the amount of tax dollars being spent to support the food stamp programs, the government would be shooting itself in the foot by having to increase the benefit to make up for the upcharge.
You ever see the web site infinitecat.com? Pictures of cats looking at the pic of the last cat looking at the cat looking at the cat...etc? This could be a new concept! Is infinitecomplaint.com owned? hehe
I agree with all of the comments so far. I can't believe people can be so selfish. "I don't care if I wreck the environment....I can't hear the T.V." What idiots! By the way, I like the deposit idea!
You're so right! People always think that they have the right of way to act the way they want to just because they can. Be a little less selfish sometimes!
There's no such thing as an opinion that isn't viewed as selfish by someone else. I don't disagree with this topic, just pointing out the irony in the statement. I'm sure the Discovery Channel bomber felt the same way about all of us "selfish" people who wouldn't boycott Discovery because they didn't air the content he wanted them to air.
When I look at what I put in the garbage, chip bags aren't what I glare at thinking will "wreck the environment". Half my garbage is junk mail or leftover packaging. Even just the envelopes and little extra pieces of paper put into the legit mail such as bills is too much.
Newsflash: A chip bag is not going to wreck the environment.
Personally, I thought we had evolved past this 20th century environmental hand-wringing hysteria, but apparently not.
As for Sun Chips, they're going to do whatever it takes for people to do the most important thing: Buy their chips. If they put any "higher principles" above profit, then guess what happens? No more Sun Chips.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't people at home with their plates complaining. I wouldn't complain about such a petty thing, but if I had to guess, it was people at work in cubicles next to each other or people on long road trips with a sleeping baby in the car. It's hard to think of any other situation where noise would be an issue with chips unless theatres sell them.
true, you can just put them on a plate, AFTER you take them off the shelf at the store, toss them into your cart, run them through the checkout, bag them up, place them into the car to get them home, bring all the bags in the house, unload the bags, put them somewhere, they were very noisy bags. i like sunchips dont get me wrong, but the bag was loud.
Amazed people can be so shallow and complain about something that's better for the environment. I think those of us in support of this bag should call the company with a counter complaint in support of keeping the bag
Seriously, how can this be a problem? When did all the other issues in the world come to an end? God forbid we have noisy snack bags. What about the crunch of the chips? Come on people, stop making humans look bad.
Exactly. Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems odd that a chip that is the favorite of health and environmentally aware people is being forced by its consumers to go to a non-biodegradable bag because they disliked the sound of the 100% biodegradable one.
Yeah - have any of you actually heard the bag? It's like 50 decibels! A Chip bag. Its ridiculous. You can't even hold a conversation while holding the bag.
IvanAp - Sunchips are more the darling of people who like to pretend they are healthy or environmentally conscious... there's really no way to make chips good for you.
On the contrary, they aren't cooked in oil. They are baked. And they are made with a wheat base I think. I would rather "splurge" on a few of the Sun Chips than a bag of Cape Cod Potato Chips..or Lays. I don't think Sun Chips ever said their product was good for us anyway. In fact I have never seen a chip product with the slogan "its good for you!"
Ivan, why are you trying to put people in a box. Most of us aren't extremist! I take care of my self and I'm environmentally friendly, but I'm not an idiot. Just because they say a bag is better do you believe them? But it's just like all you progressive people, get on here and scream and hollar, name call and act like people who hate the bag a stupid.
All a company has to do is put the word "green" on something and you green extremist will buy it, never mind if it will cost you more or if it will really save the planet, you're probably just cool cause all of your stuff says green.
The further decline of Western civilization. People will complain about anything though this absolutley makes no sense to me. Who cares if the bags were louder? I'm sure they have more customers who appreciate the bag rather then complain about it. Now I'm going to complain that they are killing the environment with this shift. Maybe if we get enough people to complain they'll go back!
I have to wonder if this was really just an excuse by the company to revert to the old bag type because the bio-degradeable version was more expensive to produce and it was cutting into their margins.
One brand of chip (not even a popular one at that) isn't going to make a dent in the environment. I guarantee you that if every chip maker switched to this type of bag that there would be complaints. They are obnoxious as hell.
I totally agree with your comment!! I have taken environmental classes and to say the least a bunch of it is garbage. One brand of chip will not have any effect on the environment. Jus like the global warming crap. The Main guy of the committee stepped down, because the information to prove global warming was falsified ( was that any shock).
I agree that one brand of chips using biodegradable bags will do nothing. But what if their pioneering effort inspires others to do the same? It may not help a whole lot, but it's a step in the right direction.
By Al Gore's research when investigators found the missing "hockey stick" part of the graph that showed periods of global cooling. The quick about-face was to rename it "climate change" and ignore the new studies of the solar cycles and history of ice ages without human intervention. There's a current class-action lawsuit with over 60,000 scientists backing it stating it's market manipulation and people are making millions on gov't laws passed regarding it. If we're really as low on oil in the oil fields as some scientists claim, the damage is already done anyway with what we used and what burned during natural disasters like deep-impact meteor strikes over oil fields. Global dimming was observed on 9/11 when all airflight traffic stopped, but, unfortunately, that scenario would be hard to set up again to retest.
Whether you believe it or not, that's what he was probably referring to. You won't read about it on msnbc though. I heard it on NPR and a couple of radio talk shows.
.....how about the new "green" biodegradable container everbody is waiting for.......it's called the (paper bag).........environmentally friendly since 1905......but don't tell anyone............
OK, when I first heard this I thought it was ridiculous. However, after I actually got ahold of a bag of Sunchips myself, then I heard the bag - I have to say it IS really really noisy. But - the environment is tons more important than someone not being able to hear the tv. I mean really. You can't open the bag, pour some chips in a bowl or on a paper towel, and eat them that way? It's a biodegradeable bag! THAT should be the most important factor here!
How do you know it is better for the Earth? Because it says "biodegradable"? What is the manufacturing process? What is the environmental impact of the materials? How much energy was required to make the bag? How much fresh water was required? Does it even bio-degrade in a landfill?
Hey lighten up everybody, the fat squad wants to get fatter in the stealth mode, what better way than to eat fat chips in quiet bags? They just don't want to advertise their gluttony.
I certainly agree with you - and to think people get paid 6 figures to work on these problems - no wonder bags are 1/2 air - 3 piece suits are 1/2 air too Lets get real!!
That’s ridiculous. Where is Frito-Lay's resolve to reduce their impact on the environment? Let’s regress and replace the biodegradable, decent for the environment bag with the plastic one because it’s quieter and people can’t hear me when I am stuffing my face with chips...
Frito-Lay attempted to do something to reduce (or at least give the impression) their impact on the environment. However, as a business, they found that it wasn't well received by their customers. Apparently not enough environmentalists bought more chips to make up for all the overly annoyed people who stopped buying. For "green" to work, it has to be compatible with business.
Lol! Noise pollution versus environmental polution?
In reality, if everyone in the USA did everything possible "green", it would only reduce world polution by about 15%. Remember, we are no longer the industry capital of the world.

Some old lady can't tell the difference between superglue and her eyedrops so now the glue people got to change their packaging too.
No wonder our country is in the crapper.
I'm much more concerned about the smell of Corn Nuts when they're being eaten than the sound of Sun Chips's bagging.

"Remember, we are no longer the industry capital of the world."
Since when? Check your glasses dude.
USA GDP 14.5 Trillion
Japan 5 Trillion
China 5 Trillion
Germany 3.3 Trillion
France 2.6 Trillion
Next Seven Countries 1-2.5 Trillion
Every other country on Earth is at or below 1 Trillion.
On what planet is this possible if we are not the biggest industrial nation?
You need to accept the fact our economy is 3 times bigger than any other country and get over it.

Back to the drawing board. I buy them and put them in a reusable container. Works fine!
Next step is to BYOB (bring your own bag) for all products!
This is what is important in America? We're doomed for sure.

Unfortunately the product has a short shelf life in paper containers. I do applaud Frito-Lay's efforts in having concern for the environment.
Mozzie....there are ways of lining paper bags to prevent that. ... using a food grade wax coating would be one of them.

I'll tell you who; yuppy westerners, living cushy lives with nothing else to worry about besides the volume of their chip bag makes. Oh man, we need some hardship so that we're not so neurotic.
My thoughts exactly.
Environmental concerns trump a crunchy bag, c'mon people!
FYI - this is an "idea" I hear from the conservatives quite often but never mentioned on MSNBC.
mimi - the only thing that degrades in America these days is people.
downhere - You actually stopped buying Sunchips because of the noise? Haha. Your life must be the best.
Wow. People who have the time and energy to complain about chip packaging noise should find a better use for their time and energy.
they would be better than people who have time and energy to blog about people who complain about chip packaging noise, like us. just kidding! ... anyways, now FritoLay may get complaints about envionmentally unfriendly packaging, then they have to switch back again, not kidding this time...
The fear of plastic is silly. The new water bottles, the biodegradable packages, not really doing anything better.
The old crisps bags were not killing the planet.
Go ahead and buy something else- as if there are soooo may options with boidegradeable bags.
Were they really THAT noisy? That's really what I'm wondering here...just HOW loud does it have to be for them to be getting that many complaints about it? I would guess pretty loud...
They are indeed extremely loud.
Yes they were loud...
Kinda like the way we listen to our music, our phones are all set on high, our alarms on our cars are loud, we go to clubs with loud music and loud people. This is not a hush hush society we live in. What the heck is the big deal with a noisy chip bag for the love of Pete! Do we all suffer from Aspherger's or Autism or something that we can't handle the "loudness" of a bag? rolls eyes
They were really loud and annoying. you couldn't even touch the bag without a loud crinkling sound.
cant even sneak a snack at work because the bag was that noisy!! i could tell that my kids were into the chips across the room and down the hall because the bag was that noisy!!
I like the noisy bag - it's biodegradeable, people !!!
What's the problem? Poor a few into a bowl and take to the TV room.
Tired,
For some reason, I doubt you are all that knowledgable about green technology. It's just a feeling I have.
Sounds like something a California politician would think up....
Make it a dollar . It would make it back to the store. I would even stop to pick one up for the refund. Incentive.
I can think of more important things to complain about than a snack bag! Get a Life People!
Shhhhhhh!
Yet you complain about people complaining about a snack bag?
You do see the irony, right?
You ever see the web site infinitecat.com? Pictures of cats looking at the pic of the last cat looking at the cat looking at the cat...etc? This could be a new concept! Is infinitecomplaint.com owned? hehe
You have GOT to be kidding me!! I agree - a premium on the non-degradable bags!
Seriously, people, just put them on a plate. Are we really that lazy? Reading this was a little depressing.
Pretty scary isn't it Alex? We really have been dumbed down haven't we?
It would also be better for the enviroment if we threw away computers, tv's, cars, most people, carpet, heating, air conditioning, etc.
Most green products do little but increase costs.
Amazed...
There aren't enough of you. But like the bag that you love you are LOUDER, so have at it.
Seriously, how can this be a problem? When did all the other issues in the world come to an end? God forbid we have noisy snack bags. What about the crunch of the chips? Come on people, stop making humans look bad.
Or the "crunch" in their hollow heads! Lol!!!
Exactly. Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems odd that a chip that is the favorite of health and environmentally aware people is being forced by its consumers to go to a non-biodegradable bag because they disliked the sound of the 100% biodegradable one.
Already made my own complaint to the company about their poor move.
Yeah - have any of you actually heard the bag? It's like 50 decibels! A Chip bag. Its ridiculous. You can't even hold a conversation while holding the bag.
Amen!
This is just another example of the dumbing down of America. Unfortunately, I can't say I'm surprised.
Global warming was disproven? When and where?
I agree that one brand of chips using biodegradable bags will do nothing. But what if their pioneering effort inspires others to do the same? It may not help a whole lot, but it's a step in the right direction.
You have to start somewhere though. And the fact that a marginally popular brand can't make the switch is not good news.
casual - the what if is that we will all be deaf. I think the hearing aid industry is behind the Sun Chips conspiracy. (sarc)
They neeed to do something about Grape Nuts! Its imposible to hear the TV while eating them!
lol :)
lol :) Good One
Oops...sorry Chemack...I just made a similar comment to yours in an earlier thread, only I used Rice Krispies. Credit to you for posting first.
Yes, the bags are noisy. But, if a quieter biodegradeable bag cannot be found, I would choose the noise over the old plastic.
.....how about the new "green" biodegradable container everbody is waiting for.......it's called the (paper bag).........environmentally friendly since 1905......but don't tell anyone............
Here is the info for anyone who wishes to log a counter complaint: Call them at 972-334-5022 or 1-800-352-4477 or send via e-mail www.fritolay.com. !!
Oh please. It's actually a joke in our house that we can't sneak munchies anymore. Maybe that's the problem with these people.
come on, really?? People have time to complain about the noise of the bag much less notice it?
OK, when I first heard this I thought it was ridiculous. However, after I actually got ahold of a bag of Sunchips myself, then I heard the bag - I have to say it IS really really noisy. But - the environment is tons more important than someone not being able to hear the tv. I mean really. You can't open the bag, pour some chips in a bowl or on a paper towel, and eat them that way? It's a biodegradeable bag! THAT should be the most important factor here!
Are people stupid?! Get over it! It's a little bit louder but it's good for the Earth!
Wow, too many ignorant people alive!
The earth doesn't care what the bag is made out of.
How do you know it is better for the Earth? Because it says "biodegradable"? What is the manufacturing process? What is the environmental impact of the materials? How much energy was required to make the bag? How much fresh water was required? Does it even bio-degrade in a landfill?
So is eliminating the use of toilet paper. Just be thoughtful enough to warn people before shaking hands.
Hey lighten up everybody, the fat squad wants to get fatter in the stealth mode, what better way than to eat fat chips in quiet bags? They just don't want to advertise their gluttony.
LMAO !!! 'fat squad' and 'stealth mode' OMG Thats too funny in the same sentence!
I'll take the fact that the bag is biodegradable over the noise any day.
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Were is your resolve? Turn off your computer. You are wasting energy complaining on a talk board.
yeah, real...who do you think you are, expressing an opinion?
lol tired, shut up and leave real alone.
Frito-Lay attempted to do something to reduce (or at least give the impression) their impact on the environment. However, as a business, they found that it wasn't well received by their customers. Apparently not enough environmentalists bought more chips to make up for all the overly annoyed people who stopped buying. For "green" to work, it has to be compatible with business.
who cares about the environment when MY BAG IS TOO NOISY! god bless america!
LOL!!!!!
I agree, it is rediculous. Save the environment. If the bag is too noisy, pour the chips into a bowl, then there is no crinkling, crackling of a bag.
No you just got the noise from the chips hitting off the glass or plastic bowl. LMMFAO
Just pour them reeeaallllyyy slowly.......and for Gods sake don't you dare use a PLASTIC bowl, how could you! ROFLMAO!!!!!!
If you're also forgoing toilet paper for the environment you might want to rethink this.
