DiPascali was his right hand man and CFE, he knew it was all a scam. 75 years for him with no chance of parole. Forfeit all assets so that the investors can recoup some of their losses. All associates and family members also forfeit their gains from the scheme (most everything they have was scammed from others) or else face jail time themselves. Let no stone be unturned, everyone who benefited from Madoff's scam must turn over their ill gotten gains!

Take a look at Wall Street, I am sure their are frims there that should be forfeiting assets also!

Also - if you research his history, you'll probably find that he too has one of those "Over-Glorified" Degrees from a College University, right up there with "ENRONS" Jeffery Skilling , and those TYCO & WorldCom executives, and all those Corrupt New York Banker Executives, and Credit Card Executives, and quite a few politicians from both parties !! Thats what these "Over-Glorified" Colleges and Universities teach these minions now days, theres so much Fraud & Corruption in the Corporate Enviroment now days, with so many of these people, its Obvious their getting it from somewhere, and I guarantee you, it wasn't Junior High School, I still say an FBI and Department of Justice Investigation needs to be done to some of these Universities and college Professors and Deans who are running and over seeing these so-called higher Instutions of learning, because something is definetly very wrong here with this picture with so many of these Corporate Executives in so much hott water and trouble,, and their being specifically trained and taught to do these things by somebody or some instution, theres just too much of it, and its been going on for way too long !

KMartin1959, some of us on this board have a problem with vision.  At times it is hard to read regular type, so please be understanding.  Even with Computer glasses, and the type of monitor you have makes it difficult to see clearly, therefore, bold type helps, tremendously!  I thought I would never ever have problems reading up close .... now that day is here, it'svery frustrating .... forget about trying to read the small print that's on so many bottles and packages, not even a magnifying glass helps!  They say vision worsens with age, being 61 years old, I am here to testify to this aging problem.

I still take my herbal products to help, treat my eyes with hot and cold packs just to prevent my vision from becoming worse, and hopefully prevent some of the aging.  But its happened, and there is nothing I can do about it, but what I do.

I don't know if its why others type in bold, but it is the main reason why I do it.  I figure others type in bold, to ensure our attention is drawn towards their comment. 

I enjoy staying on top of current events, and adding my two cents.  So please, understand that we are not typing in bold to be annoying, as their maybe some vision issues, or just to capture our attention.   

Now, the prosecuters better go after the wife and son for taking fraud money that Madoff sent while trying to preserve some assets. There is probably a lot of money sitting on the side. The government better keep an eye on them so that they will never be able to use it.

If he's guilty put his butt in jail.

Let the media have a field day. This is where people get what they've got coming to them. I wonder if any of them will feel it was worth it. Money for awhile. And then jail time and insolvency. When instead, most of these con artists could have made a real good living and not had repercussions.

I see that once again our leaders have successfully guided the fault for this whole mess away from the guilty. That is themselves for allowing the mess to continue when they were fully aware of what was happening with AIG, Wall Street, and the banks, and not having the moral courage to step forward and bring the farce to an end.

Instead, we are creating another mess that may well be the undoing of the United States. This congress is composed of a bunch of damn foolsand in my opinion, traitors.

Why are they not going after the wife and the adult children who worked in the firm and lived off the largess of the scam? They knew what was going on. They should all be in a family and friends cell block together. All their ill gotten gains should be forfeit and sold off to repay investors. Investors that clearly knew what was going on (and you know many of them did when they could call ahead and ask for a specific loss for tax purposes) should also be hunted down and tried and put in jail. They were part of the scam too.

Now we need to go after the wife!

This entire fiasco is a scam within a scam, of which the government is part of.

The greatest & costliest scam in the history of the world and only 1 guy is sitting in jail, and 1 other might be packing some underwear. Not even the “accountant” has been indicted. Justice in America……….I love it!

I want to know where the money went. Did any of it go to a foreign country and if so, how much?

Any of the scoundrels, that get a plea deal, need to spill their guts first. Not as to where the money is, but testify against all the other conspirators.

good to see justice sort of, still wonder how Madoff's wife gets to keep a few million, if this were a drug deal, she would be living in a box by now......things really are different if you have the money.
